Bride and Groom on bridge in Jericho Terrace

Beautiful summer wedding at Jericho Terrace, Mineola, NY

You can't ask for a nicer couple or a more beautiful day!  We started our day as Kimberly got

ready in her parent's home and Manny in his.  This gave us ample time to document details and the getting ready photos.

They saw each other for the first time in Oyster Bay Arboretum. All the flowers were in full bloom. It was a spectacular place for photos!

Once we arrives at the Jericho Terrace, we had plenty of time to finish all the family and portraits before the ceremony.

Why do first look prior to ceremony?

More and more couples elect to see each other prior to the ceremony and have all their formal photos done.  I find this works well especially when the ceremony is in the same location as the reception.  The ceremony lasts 20-30 min. and the cocktail hour begins.  If the couple has not done their photo session prior to the ceremony, they will miss a great part of their cocktail hr and may even need to take a few more minutes during the reception to finish the photos.  Today, most couples want to be present for every moment of the celebration and  the best wedding photography possible.

Location: Jericho Terrace, 249 Jericho Turnpike, Mineola, NY 11501.
